Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept payments from all major credit and debit cards securely through PayPal. Payment will be taken at the time of ordering.

If you do not wish to pay online, we also accept personal cheques. If you are paying by cheque, please be aware that your goods will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared with our bank, so please allow a further 5 working days for delivery.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable

Shipping And Handling

For UK addresses we offer a choice of standard First Class Royal Mail delivery at £3.95, and Royal Mail Special Delivery at £5.95.

The majority of our orders are dispatched within 5 working days. Some items, or orders in large numbers, may take up to 21 days. These items are indicated in their description. You will receive an email when your order has been dispatched.

If your order is over £50 you will receive FREE standard delivery, and if your order is over £100 you will receive FREE Special Delivery.

International orders are charged at £8.95.

All of our goods are carefully packed before dispatch, and leave us in pristine condition. Although we cannot be held responsible for goods damaged in transit, please see our Returns Policy section for information on how to contact us.

Delivery Schedule

Although orders dispatched by Standard Delivery will normally be received by you within 5 working days, please allow 10 working days before contacting us.

You must inform us within 15 working days from your date of ordering if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can take steps to rectify the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

All of the prices quoted on our website are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.

We use PayPal to process all transactions. As well as being one of the most secure ways to pay, you get the added bonus of PayPal Buyer Protection.

We guarantee to be the offer the cheapest prices on the internet or in the High Street. If you are able to find the same items chaper elsewhere we will match that price and give you free standard postage on your order. Please contact us for more details.

Our price match guarantee is valid if you are able to provide us details of any UK based shop (either internet or High Street) who are selling the same items, those items are currently in stock, and both prices and stock availability can be verified by Elegantly Entertaining. Postal charges must also be taken into account when price matching.

Please note, this does not extend to on-line auction sites (although we have an eBay shop ourselves, and always aim to be the cheapest on there as well!).

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
